It looks like Gwyneth Paltrow is finally happy in her relationship. The star announced her engagement to Brad Falchuk, a famous director and film writer, in January 2018.
Gwyneth has previously dated A-listers, such as Ben Affleck and Brad Pitt, as well as was married to singer Chris Martin. But she believes that her romance with Brad is her 'first adult relationship'.
The 45-year-old confessed that before meeting Falchuk, she had a problem with intimacy. She was divorced, while all of her friends had strong marriages. As a result, Paltrow felt like a failure.
Besides, in all of her previous relationships, the actress was either chasing or in fear of committing. This time, it feels different:
I feel like I'm in an adult relationship that is sometimes uncomfortable, because he sort of demands a certain level of intimacy and communication that I haven't been held to before.
The two are also on the same team when it comes to future plans. As the actress reveals:
Neither of us want more kids. We’re on the same team.
Gwyneth has 2 children with Chris Martin, Apple and Moses. Although they are divorced, the ex-couple still manages to keep the family intact, successfully co-parenting their kids.
Falchuk also has two kids from his previous marriage with Suzanne Bukinik, Brody and Isabelle. They happen to be of the same age as Paltrow’s children.
And the proud father enjoys sharing pictures of himself with his kids on Instagram. He even took his daughter as his date for the 2016 Emmy!
As for tying the knot, Gwyneth hopes it will happen this year. The wedding ceremony will be small, with only close friends and family present.
