What’s The Possibility Of ‘Friends’ Reboot? Courtney Cox Talks About An Expected Reunion

Even before the iconic 90 TV series Friends had ended, fans were worried about it airing again in future. The comeback is long-awaited and wished for. The excitement still remains, doesn't it?

Jennifer Aniston disclosed her desire to start the show again on behalf of Courtney and Lisa. It was evidently the greatest project of their acting careers and they still fantasize about working on it all over again. During an interview with InStyle, Jen told:

We see so many shows are being successfully rebooted. Others are convinced but Matt LeBlanc would be needed to talk into.

It seems like there is a contradiction in their decisions to restart it. However, Courtney has left us clear indications herself!

Courtney Cox talks about Friends reboot

The actress, 54,  is among the dreamers who would like to have a remake of the classic TV series. She still loves and misses working with her co-stars and would do anything to be in the same room with all of them again. She wants to portray her character as Monica Geller on the small screen one more time, but unfortunately, the possibilities are slim to none.

Courtney told PEOPLE:

I don’t know if there’s a way to redo it. Helpless group of well-bonded friends in their 30's trying to find themselves.

The reason behind it must be the disagreement of other celebrities of this incredible show who can't commit to such a larger-than-life project again. And here goes our light at the end of the tunnel!

The other cast don't want its revival

Matt LeBlanc would never like to resurrect the character that made his career. The role was actually opposed to his personality as an egotistic womanizer that he doesn't want to play again. He liked it and did tremendous efforts to make his acting unbelievably realistic but he has no energy to pretend to be that again.

Matt feels extremely fortunate to have worked for such a hit show and enjoys its generated wealth to this day. He revealed to DailyMail UK:

Normally I’d never say never, but in the case of Friends, I would say definitely never.
