Bishop Curry's message turned out to be useful, not just to the royal couple but to many others who listened to him. And now he has given a few more details about the marital tips he offered the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

In an interview with Access, the bishop said there were three main principles that Harry and Meghan should know.

Evolution of love

Curry told the couple that for their love to be real, it has to move from just a feeling to actual actions that back up those feelings.

Real love must move from just a mere sentiment to an authentic and genuine commitment.

Selfless love

Another marriage tip from Curry was that love is selfless.

Love is the opposite of selfishness.

He explained that to have real love, one must get away from the idea of self-centredness and move towards "a sacrificial way of living."

God is love

The bishop's final message was that the love between two people should be spiritual and lead them to godliness. In his message, he explained that couples may not always have the capacity to feel that unconditional love for their partner but these are the times they might require divine assistance.

Bishop Curry, the head of the Episcopalian Church in America, sure shared some eye-opening tips. And considering how happy Harry and Meghan have been since their wedding, it's safe to say that his advice worked well for them.
