Madeline Kahn's Marriage Could Have Lasted For Years If Cancer Didn’t Take Her Life After Just 2 Months

The famous American actress and comedian, Madeline Kahn, known for her roles in such films as What's Up, Doc?, Young Frankenstein, High Anxiety, History of the World Part I and others, could have had a long and happy life, but unfortunately the insidious disease took her life forever.
The actress was diagnosed with the ovarian cancer in 1998. She underwent three rounds of chemotherapy, had three surgeries and some experimental treatment. Despite being in the middle of treatment, Madeline continued to work on Cosby, but it was reduced to four episodes in the final season.
Madeline Kahn's short marriage
Even though Madeline Kahn was dealing with cancer and was undergoing some serious treatment, she married her loving partner of 10 years, John Hansbury, in October, 1999.
Their marriage could have lasted many years, but, unfortunately, cancer took Madeline’s life forever. She passed away just two months after marrying John, in December, 1999, at the age of 57.
Even though so many years have passed since Madeline Kahn’s death, her numerous fans still think about her, and can’t believe she is gone forever. She was so talented!
