In 2016, Ozzy Osbourne’s affair with hairstylist Michelle Pugh was revealed. Naturally, everybody was greatly shocked, but none more so than Ozzy’s wife, Sharon.
Sharon Osbourne’s confession
She was desperate and ready to do anything to know the truth. Recently, Sharon revealed she gave her husband sleeping pills, so he would tell her more details and confess to cheating.
As reported by The Sun, Sharon said:
I was a broken woman. He sent me an email that was meant for one of his women. Then he took his sleeping pills. I put an extra two in his drink . . . and asked him everything, and everything came out.
Sharon says that, at the time, she was confident doing so was the only possible way to know the truth and find out whether her husband was cheating or not:
He would have never told me the truth, ever. He was ashamed, afraid. I knew how long. I knew who it was. I knew what he was thinking and then, you know, you leave.
Nevertheless, sleeping pills were not very effective, and didn’t provide her with the correct information:
Ozzy told me it was over with this woman and I believed him. Then, six months later, I found out it wasn’t and there were others.
Later, he confessed to being a sex addict and event went to rehab.
How to find out if your husband is cheating
It's clear that giving your partner sleeping pills is not a good thing to do. But how can you find out whether your partner is cheating? According to Very Well Mind, you have to pay attention to certain details and notice important signs:
- less connection and intimacy in your relationship;
- a sudden change in your partner's habits;
- your partner becomes more critical and negative towards you;
- he starts to lie and avoids you more often;
- your partner behaves as though he's bored with you;
- he makes extra purchases.

If you notice any of the abovementioned signs, it might be a good idea to have an open discussion with your partner about your relationship. And please remember that you can solve problems with your partner through negotiations, not pills.
