Since the 21-year-old reality star was featured in Forbes, where she was referred to as a 'self-made billionaire', the internet has been engaged in a heated argument.

In a recently published Forbes article, Kylie Jenner was hailed as a very successful entrepreneur. A quote that was slapped alongside a picture of Kylie on the cover of the magazine reads:

At 21, she’s set to be the youngest-ever self-made billionaire. Welcome to the era of extreme fame leverage.

While many accepted that Kylie is a smart and successful young woman, few people accepted Forbes' description of her.

Some people noted that being a part of the Kardashian clan and benefiting from their worldwide fame automatically excludes Kylie from the category of people, who make their wealth from scratch. breaks it down

As a response to the Forbes feature, decided to share some English lessons via Twitter:

Self-made means having succeeded in life unaided. Used in a sentence: Forbes says that Kylie Jenner is a self-made woman.

While this was, apparently, a joke, the message in it was pretty clear and it reignited the argument over the 'self-made' term even more.
