Before her picture-perfect marriage to Daniel Moder, Julia Roberts had several high-profile relationships with actors, including Matthew Perry, Liam Neeson, and Kiefer Sutherland (to whom she was engaged).

How it started (and quickly ended)

As many had predicted, the couple’s “happily ever after” didn’t last. In March 1995, after less than two years of marriage, Roberts and Lovett announced their separation and subsequently divorced. Roberts’ fans still can’t get over her short-lived first marriage
