Warren Beatty was something of a sexual revolutionary at his best days. But his eldest daughter won this title over, becoming a revolutionary of her own.
Kathlyn Elizabeth started questioning her sexuality at a very young age, and by the time she turned 14, she had been already identifying herself transitioned.
Kathlyn changed her name to Stephen Ira and became an activist for the transgender community.

At 20 years old, Stephen released a video, which is now deleted, where he described his journey, talking about going through hormonal therapy. He also revealed about his aspirations of becoming a poet and an English teacher and to encourage others to become more open-minded.
Stephen talked about his friends who supported him during the transitioning period, not mentioning his parents. However, Warren Beatty revealed what he thinks about his son in a recent interview.
In 2016, Warren Beatty had a ‘tell-all’ chat with Vanity Fair, which was his first interview in 25 years. Unsurprisingly, the question about his transgender son popped up in the middle of it.
When Beatty was asked about Stephen, he said:
He’s a revolutionary, a genius, and my hero, as are all my children.
This was the first time in many years when the legendary actor discussed this subject, and it looks like he didn’t turn his back on his son.
The two has been married since 1992, and it appears that their strong family values are what keeps their family together, supporting each other no matter what.
