Sinatra’s singing talent seemed to have transferred to his children, Nancy, Frank Sinatra Jr., and Tina, from his first marriage to Nancy Barbato. All three of them became musicians. In 1967, Nancy and Frank Sinatra Jr. appeared together as guest stars in The Smoother Brothers Comedy Hour, singing Nancy’s hit song Something Stupid, a duet she used to perform with their dad.

It’s remarkable how much Frank Sinatra Jr. sounds just like his father! People on social media commented that he is an excellent singer but he wasn’t given a chance to show his talent because of how popular his father was, and also because of ‘poor management’.

The hit single was written by C. Carson Parks and recorded by him and his wife. However, it became a number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart after Nancy and Frank Sinatra performed it together.

Another wonderful duet

Another Frank and his daughter‘s joint performance that is worth remembering is their song Downtown.

It’s wonderful to see how the classical voice and appearance of Sinatra combines with the vibrant 60s vibe of his beautiful daughter. What is your favorite Sinatra’s song?
