Princess Eugenie Flaunts A Dazzling Greville Emerald Kokoshnik Tiara With Gorgeous Earrings Gifted By The Groom, Jack Brooksbank

Princess Eugenie’s 'something borrowed' was an item of exceptional beauty every bride would dream to get. Her grandma, the Queen of England, was kind enough to lend the princess a stunning emerald tiara for her wedding at St. George’s Chapel this morning.
The blushing bride stunned the crowd as she emerged from the car, wearing a sparkling Greville Emerald Kokoshnik Tiara with matching earrings, which were presented as a wedding gift by the loving groom, Jack Brooksbank.
The glittering headpiece was created by Boucheron in 1919 in the beautiful 'kokoshnik' style, which was extremely popular in the Russian Imperial Court. The tiara features brilliant and rose cut diamonds in platinum, with six shining emeralds on each side. Margaret Greville bequeathed it to the Queen Mother in 1942.
That tiara doesn't appear to have EVER been worn in public by a royal since Mrs. Grenville gave it to Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother in 1942 along with a treasure chest of jewels. WHAT ELSE IS HIDDEN AWAY?— Patricia Treble (@PatriciaTreble) October 12, 2018
The tiara looks slightly reminiscent of Queen Mary's Diamond Bandeau Tiara Meghan Markle wore for her wedding in May, as it appears they were made in a similar style. However, the two headpieces have major differences between them.
The stunning dress
But this is where the similarities between the two royal brides end. Princess Eugenie’s wedding dress was very different from Meghan’s, as she chose an elegant creation by Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos of the famous British label Peter Pilotto.
The dress features a delicate neckline that gently folds around the shoulders to a low back that drapes into a stunning long train. The princess decided not to wear a veil, which is a step away from the royal tradition.
Eugenie was surely one of the most beautiful brides we’ve ever seen, and we wish her and Jack a lifetime of love and happiness.
