Perhaps there were some real feelings involved? According to Didi Conn, who played Frenchy in the cinema classic, it might be not far from the truth.

Conn claims that Travolta had a huge crush on Newton-John. At that time the actor was 23 and unable to hide his attraction to his 29-year-old co-star. Perhaps that helped to create that almost palpable electric chemistry, which could be felt not only on the screen but in real life too.

Incredible live performance

Olivia and John managed to build a great friendship with the actress commenting on how helpful and charming Travolta was on set. But one of their most memorable performances beyond the musical was at the 2002 Grease DVD Release Party, where the two sang You're the One That I Want.

The sparks were flying every time John and Olivia looked at each other even after so many years! We can’t stop smiling when watching them perform together again.

People absolutely loved their reunion. One user commented that it was extremely powerful whilst another one said that it’s hard to hold back tears. According to the comments, Olivia has cancer and Travolta talks to her every single day, which is incredibly sweet.
