Why Sting’s kids will not inherit his fortune

As one of the world’s most successful musicians, Sting can honestly call himself a rich man. His earnings are reportedly estimated in £180 million. How do you like that?

Some people may think that Sting’s kids are really lucky to have such a rich dad. Why do they need to work if their father has £180 million?!

Sting has another vision of the matter. According to Daily Mail, the iconic singer said his six children will not inherit his money.

I told them there won’t be much money left because we are spending it! We have a lot of commitments, and there isn’t much left.

In their father’s footsteps…

Sting said his children should work and earn their own living. However, the singer explained that if his kids need help, he will never reject them.

Obviously, if they were in trouble I would help them, but I’ve never really had to do that. They want to succeed on their own merit.

By the way, two of Sting’s kids followed in their father’s footsteps and devoted their lives to music. Joe and Eliot are musicians and songwriters as well.

Of course, there always will be someone who disagrees with Sting’s attitude toward parenting. In our opinion, Sting is a good father and he teaches his children some really important things.

What’s your vision of the matter? Do you think Sting’s kids should inherit his fortune?
