It’s been a pretty rough year for the McCains as Senator John McCain was again admitted to hospital for emergency surgery just months after his release. In July 2017, Doctors gave him 14 months to live, but the stalwart doesn’t seem in any hurry to bail out soon.

Despite his troubling health, the Senator continues to work as hard as ever, representing the people of Arizona. He is also getting a lot of support from colleagues in Washington and his family.

His wife of 38 years, Cindy McCain, has stood by his side through thick and thin, and continues to pray for his restoration to full health.

Meghan McCain celebrated her mother with love

The family had ample reason to smile over the weekend as they too joined millions of Americans to celebrate Mother’s Day. Senator John McCain’s daughter, Meghan McCain, shared this beautiful picture of her and her mother, Cindy McCain, with a touching tribute:

Although we cannot predict what lies ahead, we join the family in celebrating these happy times and pray that the Senator lives even more years with his beautiful wife Cindy. And like Meghan, we also celebrate all the mothers around the world.
