Barack Obama: "Trump's Decision To Kill Iran Deal Was A Serious Mistake"

Former President of the United States Barack Obama mentioned the decision of his successor Donald Trump to exit the JCPOA with Iran a huge mistake. 44th American president announced his opinion in the official statement on Facebook.
Iran nuclear deal
The agreement, signed in 2015 during Barack Obama’s presidency, had to impose a sharp decrease of Tehran's nuclear program to shut all the possibilities of fission weapons creation. In exchange, the international community agreed to cease the sanctions put on Iran because of its nuclear actions.
The agreement didn’t prohibit Iran to create ballistic missiles; the United States was also strongly against this. Unlike other agreement’s parties (except the United States, such countries as the United Kingdom, Germany, Russia, France, as well as China), Washington did not stop the sanctions but only made temporary exceptions every six months. Trump decided to renew the strict limiting policy towards Iran and ended the deal.
The former president of the United States noted that the Iranian agreement significantly retreated Tehran nuclear program and was a backbone of the upcoming agreement with North Korea:
I believe that the decision to put the JCPOA at risk without any Iranian violation of the deal is a serious mistake. Without the JCPOA, the United States could eventually be left with a losing choice between a nuclear-armed Iran or another war in the Middle East.
There are few issues more important to the security of the US than the potential spread of nuclear weapons or the potential for even more destructive war in the Middle East. Today’s decision to put the JCPOA at risk is a serious mistake. My full statement: https://t.co/4oTdXESbxe— Barack Obama (@BarackObama) May 8, 2018
The former United States president also stated that the rejection of JCPOA with Iran turned the US away from its closest allies. Obama noted that a comprehensive strategy on the Iranian nuclear program was working great, and this opinion was also shared by the independent specialists, European top countries, and the current head of the US Defense Department.
People’s reactions to Obama’s rejection were different. Trump’s advocates didn’t want to hear anything from Barack, while the Americans who aren’t enjoying Trump’s policy said the former US president was completely right.
You are absolutely correct Mr. President, it was a serious mistake. The bigger mistake was the American people electing Donald Trump as POTUS.— Bishop Talbert Swan (@TalbertSwan) May 8, 2018
Pulling out of the Iran deal puts our country at grave risk. Trump only did this to dismantle your legacy, which is beyond shameful, petty, and reckless.— Eugene Gu, MD (@eugenegu) May 8, 2018

Well, only time will tell whether Donald made the right choice. It is also worth reminding that since August 6, the ban on the dollars purchase by the Iranian government will be resumed.
