Kurt Russell Fires Back At The Celebrities Who 'Get Political' In Discussing The President's Ruling

Date May 17, 2018

Kurt Russell fired back at the celebrities who "get political" in their anti-Trump propaganda. He compares their impact with his acting, meaning nothing should interfere with your job.

Critisizing the president

Recently, a few Hollywood celebrities spoke loudly about Donald Trump and the way he manages the country.

Oprah Winfrey, Jimmy Kimmel, Richard Gere, and others have already stated publicly about their dissatisfaction with the current US leader. Trump was called "national embarrassment," "lowest-rated president in history," "some guy on Twitter," and even "an attacker."

Well, the President seems to have not the best relations with some celebrities. However, not all the people have something against Donald.

Russell's comments

Kurt Russell didn’t mention his personal attitude to Trump, but he was severely judgmental towards the celebrities who manipulate people with the help of their popularity:

The last thing I like to watch is entertainers and actors ‘get political’. It is just something I can’t stand watching.

Russell stated, the major reason for that might be the personalities difference. He just simply doesn’t care about that. For him, his work should stand alone:

It’s all about the work. And when that’s done, I am done.

Sometimes, people who tend to discuss things that don’t relate to them directly might actually have the liberal bond that at times gets heavily promulgated.

Another opinion

Many men, many minds. Apart from Kurt Russell, Clint Eastwood also made a loud statement mentioning he "can understand where he’s [Trump] coming from."

However, the actor doesn’t always agree on the President’s decisions, meaning he can’t say he is completely into Donald.
