The official Twitter handle of the royal family announced yesterday that Her Majesty held audience with the newly appointed High Commissioner for the Commonwealth of Australia, Hon. George Brandis.

For her meeting with the High Commissioner, which held in her living room, the Queen looked upbeat and generally ready for the summer months.

Summer ready!

She did not wear her usual bright colored suits. Instead, Her Majesty picked a soft beige floral piece that looked quite elegant on her.
