Hathaway's message to fat-shamers

Her reason for addressing her weight gain before hand was simple: She wanted to stop potential fat-shamers ahead of time.

She shared her gruelling progress with fans and let them into her work out routine, and captioned the time-lapse video:

The 35-year-old Devil Wears Prada star appears to be having a very busy 2018, as her IMDb page lists a series of projects in the pipeline, including the franchise movie Ocean's 8.

Hathaway said she decided to address potential trolls because she did not want to be burdened with their comments and questions about a non-existent pregnancy in the coming months.
