But the public might have to wait for a long time to catch the next glimpse of the royal, who is very high in demand.

Kate has been on maternity leave since the beginning of April, just a few weeks before she gave birth to her third child, Prince Louis. She is entitled a six-month break before coming back to the public eye. Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams thinks the duchess might recommence her royal duties in autumn. He said:

The Duchess may not be seen at official engagements until October 2018, but will likely attend select family events, as was the case with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding in May just three weeks after she gave birth.

The royal biographer Duncan Larcombe agrees, saying that it’s a traditional practice for new royal moms to take a six-month break from their engagements.

Instead, the mom-of-three will focus on looking after Prince Louis in private, who will also be absent from the public eye as he is too young to make public appearances. We believe he truly misses his royal mom when she is not home, so such long break from royal duties for Kate is totally understandable.

We might see little Prince Louis sooner than we think, as his christening is, reportedly, in summer.

Prince William will be the representative of his adorable family at the royal events. He will participate in a series of solo charity engagements and royal tours in the coming months.
