Isle of Man is one of three Crown Dependencies that the UK government is connected with.
It’s responsible for certain aspects of policy there, and defense and foreign affairs are among them.
The Queen has been visiting the areas several times, and recently, the palace has shared a few rare retro photos of the Queen on the territories during her visits there. Always bright and smiling – just as every Queen should be!

Recently, other rare photos of the Queen were revealed on the occasion of Her coronation day 65 years ago.
Queen Elizabeth is captured there with her whole family in a beautiful gown and a crown on her head.
