Queen Elizabeth Made A Sweet Appearance In Prince Louis' Christening Portraits. Did You Notice Her?

Date July 19, 2018

The official photos of Prince Louis’ christening have been released on Sunday. As you know, Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip had to skip the event. But it appears Her Majesty actually was present at the christening photos. Did you notice her?

The Queen was there!

July 9 marks the special day for Prince William and Kate Middleton. It was their youngest son Louis’ christening.

Almost the whole royal family was there on the big day, including Prince Charles and Camilla, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, little George and Charlotte. The Middleton family made their appearance too.

But some monarchs missed the event. Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles were absent on Louis’ christening due to the busy schedule. The royals had a number of other significant engagements that week, including meeting the US president, Donald Trump.

However, when the palace released the official photos from the big day, it appeared that Her Majesty was there. Did you see her?

Just take a look closer at the picture. The Queen’s portrait is on the wall of the Morning Room just behind Prince Harry. The portrait is of Her Majesty in her early years wearing blue.

We believe by this sweet gesture, William and Kate wanted to honor the Queen. Her Majesty must be deeply touched by this heart-melting tribute.

So, who said the Queen wasn’t there on Prince Louis’ christening? Her Majesty made her appearance, just not in the way we would expect. Great job!
