Kurt Cobain was the king of grunge, and his musical legacy will live forever. However, it’s not only music the famous Nirvana frontman left behind – his daughter, Frances Bean Cobain, is all grown up and showing off talents she inherited from her dad online.
Kurt Cobain's daughter
Frances Bean Cobain was born on August 18, 1992. She is the only child of Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love. The late father told once that he had named the girl “Bean” because of her undeniable resemblance with a kidney bean right after the birth.
Surprisingly, Frances doesn’t like her father’s music and doesn’t want to follow in his footsteps. Moreover, the girl has a really tense relationship with her mother. However, Frances cannot deny that she has a huge place in her heart for music and everything that has something to do with it.
Thing for music
Frances married a musician, Isaiah Silva, in June 2014, but filed for divorce half a year later. And now, she is dating with another musician, Matthew R. Cook. She is mysteriously bounded with music indeed.
Despite not wanting to build a music career for herself, Frances does sing and play guitar a bit. Recently, she had an inspiration and wrote her very first song, which the girl shared with us online. Just listen to this overload of cuteness!
She may not like it when people compare her to Kurt, but it is simply impossible not to do when it comes to music. Frances inherited that father’s raspy tone of the voice and combined it with the girlish tenderness. What could be possibly better than this?
We look forward to hearing some more beautiful stuff from Frances!
