The 74-year-old actor was neck-to-neck with Jim Carrey, Sacha Baron, and Bill Hader. Beating them all, Michael made 2019 Golden Globe Award for the best actor his destiny. In his acceptance speech, he hugely thanked his late father, Kirk Douglas. The winner also showed his gratitude to the Hollywood Foreign Press Association for treating him so well. Imagine the recognition!

Cameron Douglas congratulates his dad

More than anyone, Michael's eldest son truly realized what a gem his father is. Reversely, he was proud for his legendary dad's victory and expressed in the best possible way.
