“The Young and the Restless” is one of the longest-running television dramas in America, dating back to 1973. Set in the fictional town in Wisconsin called Genoa City, it tells the story of two families, the Brooks and the Fosters.
As several actors left the show, creators William J. Bell and Lee Phillip Bell made major changes and introduced two new families, the Abbotts and the Williamses. Several other families have been in play over the years but storyline involving Jill Abbott and Katherine Chancellor has been constant till date.
