After the finalized divorce process with David Arquette in 2013, the favorite Friends on-screen star, Courteney Cox, decided to give a shot to a new relationship. She started seeing a Snow Patrol pianist and guitarist Johnny McDaid a year later.

Johnny hails from Derry, Northern Ireland, and luckily for his lady, he's still got that dreamy accent!

Are they engaged or what?

In fact, the headlines about their engagement back to 2014 were flying in the air. However, it's been quiet on the front, so the answer was vague until now.

The mother-of-one finally let the cat out of the bag. Appearing on Ellen DeGeneres Show just yesterday, Cox got candid about her current relationship. She said:

He’s not my fiancé. We were engaged to be married, but now we’re just together. We broke off our engagement, and he moved to England, then we got back together, and it’s actually better than it was before.

Courteney also added that their relationship was 'expensive' due to going back and forth. Johnny McDaid, 42, lives in England, whereas the Hollywood star, 54, remains in the States.

The most significant is that the two have decided to stay together amid the call-off-engagement and huge distance, isn't it?

How do they manage to keep it up?

Well, it is evident that Courteney Cox and Johnny McDaid are still strong together even if they called the engagement quits, so it makes them bonding all along. Appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live! at the beginning of this month, the Friends star spilled the hot tea about visiting her beau in England, referring to him as

he's my partner, he's my guy, he's one.

We're glad for Courteney Cox and Johnny McDaid. Even though they aren't engaged once again, at least they rekindled their relationship no matter what.
