Miss Universe competition in Bangkok had come to an end. The 2018 winner is Miss Philippines Catriona Gray.

New rules

However, there was another thing that drastically differs this-year contest from all the previous years. For the first time in the history of the competition, the Miss Universe organization officially allowed transgender contestants to pageant.
