"I Love You, I Miss You, I'm Sorry": Thomas Markle Begs For Meghan's Forgiveness And Yearns To Be In Her Life Again
A series of bad publicity stunts and personal choices seriously damaged Thomas Markle's relationship with his royal daughter. He was famously unable to walk her down the aisle, and his recent tell-all interview with Good Morning Britain received major backlash, which apparently drove the royal family even further away from Thomas.
Now, Thomas Markle is seeking redemption and desperately wants to be in Meghan's life again.
Message to Meghan
Meghan Markle's father just gave an exclusive interview to The Sun, which is now his only way of communicating with the royal family. Thomas revealed he hasn't spoken to his daughter since "the interview". Although it's unclear which interview he's talking about, we imagine it's been a while since they've been in contact:
Since the interview, I've had no way of contacting her at all. The phone number that I call, it doesn't work anymore. The, I guess, liaison with the royal family never answers back. And there's no address I can write to, so I have no way of contacting my daughter.
Thomas Markle took an opportunity to send a message to Meghan in this interview, so he asked for her forgiveness:
I love you, I miss you, I'm sorry for anything that went wrong. I just want to add I want to be her child's grandfather, and I want to be near them. I want to be a part of their life. I'd like to put our differences behind us and get together. I miss you very much.
It's heartbreaking to see a father reaching out to his daughter in such a way, but you reap what you sow. We do hope this interview will become a turning point for Meghan and Thomas Markle, and they will try to salvage their relationship.
Social media users quickly reacted to the new interview, but they have split opinions on whether Thomas Markle deserves a second chance.
What do you think? Should Meghan let her father back in her life or is it too late for him?
