On June 8, the world lost a prominent person, Anthony Bourdain, who committed suicide. Apart from being a celebrity chef, the 61-year-old was also a travel documentarian, author, and a famous TV personality.
A few days following his death, the Irish rock band, U2, decided to honor the late chef while throwing a concert at the Apollo Theater. First, the band’s lead singer, Bono, candidly spoke about losing many inspiring people over the last few years, such as Chester Bennington and Chris Cornell. By doing so, he alluded to frequent cases of suicide among famous people.
