Date February 7, 2020 15:24

One can only imagine the pain that actor Kellan Lutz and his wife Brittany are currently going through. With such a big loss, it's no wonder fans are rallying around them.

A happy couple

Twilight star Kellan Lutz has clearly made a name for himself as an actor but he considers his wife to be the biggest blessing of all.

Speaking to US Weekly, the 34-year-old star opened up about his relationship with Brittany and shared some glowing words about her.

My wife is freaking awesome and I’m so glad that I found her.

Kellan and Brittany, who met through a mutual friend, have always seemed so in love with each other. And the fact that they were expecting their first child together was truly happy news.

After announcing their pregnancy in November last year, Brittany shared a sweet post where she expressed how much she couldn't wait to meet her "BABY GIRL."

All I can say is that we are stoked to have a daughter and can’t wait to meet her.

A heartbreaking miscarriage

Sadly, Brittany has announced that she suffered a miscarriage six months into her pregnancy. The health coach shared a black and white picture of herself cradling her belly and posted some poignant words about what she was going through.

I did my best and it was an absolute joy seeing your little face all those times on that screen and feeling your tiny kicks. I don’t know why it happened the way it did, but part of me finds so much peace knowing you never experienced pain or heartache and never will.

She, however, expressed that she wasn't prepared to talk about what happened but appreciated her husband and loved ones who have been very supportive.

Kellan also expressed his grief and appreciated his wife who he called "Wonder Woman." In addition to sharing the same photo, he wrote:

Taking heartbrokenness to a whole new level.

  • According to American Pregnancy, it's important to listen to them. Give them a chance to talk through their pain.
  • Some people may like to talk about the baby. Give them the opportunity to do so.
  • Tommys suggests that checking in on them is important even though it's been a while since the miscarriage.
  • You can also assist them in finding professional help and support if they need it.
