It took a long time for Maria Bello from NCIS to understand her sexuality. She dated a screenwriter, Dan McDermott, and gave birth to their son, Jackson. But after their breakup she decided to try to play for the other team.

In 2013, the actress came out to the public in an article to New York Times where she described how she was scared to reveal she was in a relationship with a woman to her then 12-year-old son but Jackson said that ‘love is love.’

Now Maria Bello is getting married

Maria Bello is engaged to her partner, a French chef Dominique Crenn. The actress revealed that she and Dominique are taking a new step in their relationship at Oscar party.

She said:

We’re pretty happy, considering that we just got engaged. So this is sort of our fun time out in Hollywood for the first time. It was very surprising and meant to be, but about time. I’ve finally grown up enough to get married.

Bello also shared that the engagement took place on December 29 in the city of love – Paris. How romantic is that?
