Fans of Chip and Joanna Gaines were not very happy when the couple decided to take a break from TV but they patiently awaited their return.

In 2018, the favorite design couple revealed on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon that they planned to return to TV but they would be working on creating a new network instead.

The new channel called Magnolia Network is expected to offer viewers a wide range of programs.

The couple has announced the first show that will be featured on Magnolia Network.

According to Today, Chip and Joanna are set to debut a reality show which will feature a couple who takes their children with them on their band tour.

The series titled Home on the Road will start airing in 2020 and it will be a six-episode show that's all about Abner Ramirez and his wife Amanda Sudano Ramirez. The couple's four-year-old son Joaquin and 1-year-old daughter Luna will join their parents band Johnnyswim as they tour North America.

The reality series is expected to premiere in October 2020. Home on the Road will follow this fascinating family as they balance parenthood and music while making several tour stops.

In a press release, Chip and Joanna Gaines described Amanda and Abner as "magnetic."

Ever since we met them a little over five years ago, we've been drawn to the way they navigate family, community, and life on the road. They're not just musicians, they're storytellers and together, they are a true picture of the relentless pursuit of following a dream and making it a reality.

Chip actually once revealed in January 2018 that the band had a slight hand in how their fifth child was conceived.

In a tweet, he said that they were at one of their Johnnyswim's concerts when things got a little romantic. He revealed this while announcing they were expecting baby number five.

Chip and Joanna are no strangers to presenting viewers with good TV. And while this show won't directly feature the couple, fans can hold out hope that they will surely create a reality series worth watching.
