Kate Hudson Says She “Probably” Would Get Married For The Second Time To Her 33-Year-Old Partner Danny Fujikawa

Date August 20, 2019

Kate Hudson is getting candid about the reality of walking down the aisle for the second time with her boyfriend and the father of her third child, Danny Fujikawa.

Kate and Danny welcome baby girl

Back in October 2018, Kate Hudson announced the arrival of her baby girl. The mother of three couldn't be any happier as she shared the happy news on her Instagram page. She shared a picture that featured the little girl's date of birth – October 2, 2018, and captioned it: “She's here.”

The actress revealed she and her boyfriend Danny Fujikawa named their daughter, Rani Rose Hudson Fujikawa. According to Hudson, Rani was named after her grandfather (Danny's father), Ron Fujikawa.

Wedding bells soon?

After welcoming a child together, many are expecting there would soon be a wedding for Kate Hudson and her boyfriend Danny Fujikawa. Speaking to The Telegraph, the mother of three revealed she 'probably' would get married to the musician.

According to her, they have both talked about marriage in the past but caring for three children is her top priority now. The actress also noted that she doesn’t view walking down the aisle as a 'golden ticket'.

She said:

Probably, I think so. We think about that a lot. Marriage is definitely not a golden ticket – it’s not going to solve any challenges in a relationship. But as someone who’s lived through... well, trial and error, I think that the symbolism of marriage, that commitment, is more important to kids than we sometimes think.

Kate and Danny first made headlines as a couple back in Mach 2017. Two months later the pair made their red-carpet debut as a couple.

They have known each other for over a decade

Though Kate Hudson and Danny Fujikawa made their relationship public in 2017, the couple has known each other for 15 years.

During an appearance on The Talk, Kate said she first met Danny through her best friends, Sara and Erin Foster.

She said:

We’ve known each other for 15 years. He’s my best friend’s stepbrother. We kinda skipped through the part of knowing what the hiccups were. You kinda skip the part of going, ‘Oh, you’re like that?'

Even though Kate welcomed a baby girl with her boyfriend, the actress isn’t sure about the idea of getting married.
