Kenny Dixon was killed in a car accident on Saturday night October 12 at the age of 27. Dixon was a drummer for the country artist Kane Brown.

Kenny is survived by his fiancee Sarah Hedrick and 3-year-old son Levi. The couple were to be married on November 30.

He will be missed!

Sarah shared an emotional post and asked for prayers for their son and their families as they mourn Kenny’s passing:

“I’m at a loss of words. I don’t even know how to write this or ever thought I would have to. Kenny passed away last night in a car accident. I know I have to be strong for Levi and God is gonna pull us through this. We have a forever guardian angel watching above us now. Please keep Levi, my family, and Kenny’s family in your prayers.”

On October 11, Hedrick posted a loving message to Dixon that finished with her saying, “I can’t wait to marry you.” In a caption, Dixon wrote that he would see her on Saturday.

They didn't know life had other plans for them...

Kane Brown’s team released the following statement:

“It is with profound sadness and disbelief that we confirm we lost our drummer Kenny this weekend in a tragic car accident. Kenny was a member of our family from the very beginning and our hearts are with his fiancée Sarah, his son, and everyone who knew and loved him. He was truly one of the greatest and kindest people on and off stage we’ve ever known.”

On Instagram, Brown remembered Dixon's loyalty all the way back to 2015, "when nobody else believed we would make out of Chattanooga playing for 500 people."

- Brown added.

"I know you will be watching over us with that redneck accent that we all love and you will never be replaced bro!!!"
