Craig Morgan’s beloved son died in a boating accident on a Tennessee lake 3 years ago. The recent high-school graduate Jerry Greer was just 19 years old.

Morgan confessed:

Jerry is the first thing I think about when I wake up and the last thing I think about when I fall asleep.

Craig said:

It happened three years ago but for me it was yesterday. And every day is yesterday.

The singer added that his music and songwriting process help him deal with the painful loss.

It’s extremely therapeutic... Just like the song, he’s not physically here but he’s still very present in our lives.
