"Never Forget": President Trump & First Lady Melania Paid A Sincere Tribute To The 9/11 Victims

Date September 11, 2019 17:16

On Wednesday, the nation of America marked the 18th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. On this morbid day, families of nearly 3,000 people mourned their loved ones in Virginia, New York, and Pennsylvania. The Stars and Stripes flag was unfurled down the side of the Pentagon to honor their departed souls.

President Trump observed the day by having a moment of silence at the White House. Later, he attended a ceremony at the Pentagon. He consoled the families whose light al-Qaida extremists stole forever after flying a hijacked plane into the two-towered building.

The thoughtful tribute

The minds are still plagued with fear after the historic incident. POTUS and FLOTUS also announced their despair over this two-decade-old tragedy on Instagram. They showed that they're still standing with the victims and remember the injustice.

The post on Melania's account depicted respect for the fallen as she captioned:

We will #neverforget #september11

Donald Trump shared the same image on his social media page. He meant to make the sufferers believe, he is devoted to keeping America secure for its residents.

People lobbied for the sincere U.S President and commemorated 9/11 fatalities

God Bless our great nation and the heroes of September 11, 2001
