Tom Cruise Amazed Ukrainians By Taking The Kyiv City's Subway Like An Ordinary Citizen And People Can't Stop Talking About It

Date October 1, 2019

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, invited Tom Cruise to visit the Slavic country. In return, the Hollywood actor said he is interested in the Ukrainian locations for shooting his future movie project.

At the same time, Zelensky stated that due to the adopted law on compensation to foreign movie-makers in Ukraine, the movie industry would start developing actively. Also, he added the country would become an investment attractive for well-known world producers like Tom Cruise.

Cruise accepted Zelensky's invitation with the blink of an eye: on September 30, the Mission Impossible star was spotted in Kyiv city's subway, looking like an ordinary citizen of Ukraine.

The A-lister surprised Ukrainians to no end, though photos with him were not allowed and a delegation and security accompanied him. Nonetheless, several passengers in the subway still managed to take some snaps the 57-year-old actor.

The shocking situation gave users a reason for jokes such as that the Hollywood legend came to Ukraine to replace the departed in the policy of Vladimir Zelensky in the continuation of the Servant of the People. It is a Ukrainian political satire comedy TV series.

On another note, could this all be a hint that Tom Cruise will run for the President? Previously, someone published a funny video where the actor's clone had announced the participation in the elections of the President of the United States in 2020.

Wow, strange things continue to happen. Let's see what is going to be next. Maybe, Ukraine will become the main area for movie producers in the foreseeable future?
