Garth Brooks & Trisha Yearwood's Charity: They Volunteer To Build 21 Affordable Homes In Nashville

Date October 22, 2019 12:13

Last weekend, Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood were up for some charity work. They teamed up with Habitat for Humanity which is a global nonprofit housing organization. It works in local communities across all 50 states of America and in nearly seventy countries.

The foundation envisions a world where everyone has a proper place to live. It partners with families who are in need of affordable lodging, helping them establish stability and self-reliance. The homeowners build their own shelters alongside aides and pay a reasonable mortgage.

Up to some philanthropy

The country superstars volunteered to lend a hand in building 21 houses in their hometown, Nashville, TN. Garth and Trisha put on their hard hats, gloves, and boots to be ready for some hard work in association with Habitat For Humanity. The wife was handling inner construction while the husband got his shoes all muddy outside.

Entertainment Tonight covered the event where Brooks told:

People think because you do this, you're doing somebody else a favor. But the truth is, I'm gonna walk away from here feeling better than when I came here.

The longest-married Presidential couple, Jimmy Carter, 95 and his wife of almost 74 years, Rosalynn, 92 were also present. They even inspired Garth and Trisha to eat better in order to have such a lasting relationship.

Garth Brooks & Trisha Yearwood's followers praised them for doing an awesome job in developing their community. How did they even manage to make time from their busy schedules? The pair has their priorities right!
