Actress Felicity Huffman is currently in trouble with the law and has been charged for her actions.

According to CNN, the Desperate Housewives star was accused of paying $15,000 to help boost her daughter's SAT scores to get her into college.

The actress pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit mail fraud and was convicted. It was revealed that she was sentenced to 14 days in prison for her role in the college admissions scam.

In addition, she also got one year of probation and will be required to perform 250 hours of community service. She has been asked to pay a $30,000 fine as well.

According to HollywoodLife, Felicity recently reported for her 14-day prison sentence at a facility in Dublin, California.

Her rep shared, in a statement to the publication, that Felicity will kickstart her sentencing at the Federal Correctional Institution in Dublin. She is prepared to serve her term as part of the punishment meted out by the justice system.

A source informed HollywoodLife that the actress is not complaining about her sentence but this "doesn't mean she's not scared."

The source added that while two weeks in jail may be daunting, the actress is doing her very best with the conditions and is determined to take things one step at a time.
