"My Daughter Thinks I’m Obsessed With Her": Mark Consuelos Checks In Lola So Much Since She Started A College Life

Date October 10, 2019 15:29

Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos' family is one of the best examples of a genuine happiness, a strong bond, and a healthy relationship. The parents are super proud of their kids and vice versa.

Recently, Kelly's lookalike daughter, Lola, started a new page as she has moved to college. She has chosen New York University, namely the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music.

Mark posted a sweet picture of Kelly and Lola hugging each other ahead of her departure:

2 down...1 to go...❤️❤️❤️❤️.

Kelly posted the same picture, and sweetly captioned:

The nest is getting roomy.....💕

Mark Consuelos stays close to her daughter Lola after she began her freshman year this August. Talking to Us Weekly, the doting dad said:

I check in so much. My daughter thinks I’m obsessed with her.

The Riverdale star admitted he's delighted his son Michael and daughter Lola decided to stay local in NYC — the place of the family house. However, he is not sure his and Kelly's youngest offspring, Joaquin, will follow in his siblings' footsteps.Consuelos carried on:

Yesterday, they were all back at the house. We had the whole gang back. As much as when you’re a young parent … you’re like, ‘I can’t wait until this is kind of easy, or you want a little more peace and quiet. Now the peace and quiet is so sad. When we get them back together in the house, it’s so nice.

People's reaction to Lola's departure to college

@hunt_peggy:

I can definitely relate! I’m an empty nester for many years, in fact , my kids are now becoming empty nesters themselves. Time sure does fly

@annsuz21:

Awwwwwwwwwwwww Lola You’re going to do awesome have fun 😎

@carrie.r.ziegler:

Love prayers for a great year and her safety 💞

@cturner6796:

Have a great year Lola♥️

We feel like every doting parent can relate to Mark Consuelos' worries. Parents always want the best for their kids, and it is sometimes seen as an imposition or an over-controlling behavior; so, it's good to know when to stop and let a child live their own life.
