Kevin Bacon Once Dated Michael J. Fox's Wife Tracy Pollan And They Even Considered Marriage: "I Was Nuts About Him."

One of the celebrity couples that effortlessly make us fantasize about happy-ever-afters is Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick.

The Hollywood stars have been married for more than thirty years with barely any scandals.

The couple always says the best way to stay happy in a marriage is never to take marriage advice from celebrities. It looks like we won't be getting any pointers from them!

Hollywood is a relatively small world, and celebrities tend to shuffle their love interests among other stars.

We bet you had no idea that Kevin Bacon previously dated Michael J. Fox's wife, Tracy Pollan, and they considered marriage too!

Bacon & Pollan's fling

In the 80s, Pollan dated the 'Footloose' movie star, Bacon. The pair met while co-acting off-Broadway and the sparks between them lit up the stage.

Most of the crew members had no idea what was going on between Bacon and Pollan because they were sneaky about the affair.

However, they couldn't stay away from each other even after the two-week play was over. Pollan recounted their love affair saying:

"I was nuts about him from the start."

During their relationship, they stayed together in a two-bedroom apartment in Manhattan, and all they ever did was cook, garden and ride horses all day.

The couple was so in love that during an interview, Pollan said:

"We will probably marry, but I feel like we're kids still, and marriage is such a grown-up thing."

Although the pair got married that same year, they didn't get married to each other.

As in love as Bacon and Pollan were, when they were ready to get married, it was to different people.

Tracy Pollan wed Michael J. Fox on July 16, 1988, while Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick got married on September 4, 1988.

Regardless of their pasts, the stars have a happy marriage with their partners and we couldn't be happier for them.
