'Malcolm In The Middle' Frankie Muniz Suffers From Intense Memory Loss, But His Life Partner Helps Him Deal With Health Issues

Date October 18, 2019

What are the chances for a young person to suffer from tremendous memory loss? The Malcolm in the Middle star, Frankie Muniz, doesn't remember many things, including the series, which made him incredibly famous.

Frankie Muniz is an American actor, musician, writer, and race-car driver, who began his racing career in 2005. He became worldwide known from the age of 15, playing a leading role in the TV series, Malcolm in the Middle.

What is the 33-year-old doing today? Most of his publicity nowadays comes from his Twitter page, which is surprisingly mundane for a high-profile celebrity. Frankie Muniz's wiki-bio and other sources say he has been suffering from memory loss. Back in 2017, he opened up about his health problems and how they may have led to issues with his longterm memory.

Is Frankie Muniz okay? Well, speaking to PEOPLE, the actor revealed he wasn't always comfortable with talking about his memory loss.

It's something that I never really wanted to talk about because I'm just me, and this is my life. But we were talking about Malcolm [in the Middle] and how it started, and I don't really have memories of being on the show.

The Hollywood star also revealed he had suffered a severe car crash in 2009 while competing as a professional race driver. He also has experienced nine concussions during his lifespan. However, Muniz said his condition doesn't affect his desire to work in the movie industry "at all."

In a candid interview with EW, Frankie Muniz said he's been visiting ERs and doctors offices after suffering from "at least" 15 transient ischemic attacks (or TIAs), otherwise known as mini-strokes that "involve a temporary clot or blockage in the brain."

Frankie Muniz's memory loss, head injury, and overall health condition aren't going to stop him. The young actor confessed he focuses on the future and how to deal with his situation.

Speaking to PEOPLE in 2019, he stated that he sometimes feels bad or sad about having no recollection of memories, but "it's just the way life is."

I only know what it's like to be me, and if I don't let it bother me, I just try to live the most fulfilling, best life I can. I really try to take advantage of my time. And I've got a lot in my life.

The Emmy Award-winning star has a partner, Paige Price, who continuously helps him remember some things.

Paige and I, we don't spend a minute apart. I don't get bored of her.

Price helps Frankie Muniz with his memory loss by writing down what they do together in a journal. He gushed about her in the 2017 PEOPLE's interview:

She's amazing. She literally writes because I get sad at the thought of losing the memories. So she writes in a journal that I can look at every day, and it's really cool because it has amazing detail. She started doing that about a year ago, and hopefully, she'll continue. She's awesome. She's very supportive. I hope we have a lot more memories [together].

The Big Fat Liar star is going through an intense battle with his memory loss, but this health condition isn't going to win. Frankie Muniz's career is still thriving as he participates in Dancing with the Stars, and thankfully, he's alive and doing well. We hope he will get better one day or at least will remember at least something with age.
