‘The Bachelor’ Alum Amanda Stanton Defends Her 5-Year-Old Daughter’s Selfie In A Swimsuit: “She Has A Cute Little Belly”

Date September 24, 2019

There's hardly a parenting move made by celebrities that wouldn't get some level of criticism online. And The Bachelor alum Amanda Stanton knows exactly what that must feel like.

Perfect mother for her two daughters

Reality star Amanda Stanton has reminded her followers that her children are her priority in life. This is coming after she and her boyfriend Bobby Jacobs broke up.

She is a devoted mom of two cute little girls – Kinsley and Charlie. Amanda shares the girls with her ex-husband, Nick Buonfiglio, whom she split from back in 2015.

Amanda defends her daughter

Amanda Stanton has come under fire after she shared a mirror selfie of her daughter, Charlie Emma, rocking a floral two-piece swimsuit. The Bachelor alum felt the photo was cute and posted it, but her fans don’t seem to agree.

One social media user @rensassy criticized the reality star for sharing the picture on Instagram saying:

I have 2 daughters 10 and 16. Let’s teach confidence and body positivity without this type of an image...Amanda I like you girl, but this is a bit too much.

The tough mom quickly clapped back at the follower. She defended the shot and her daughter. In response to the comment the mom of two said:

@rensassy i don’t see how this isn’t teaching body positivity and confidence. If anything, I think it is! And why I think it’s so cute. She is 5 and has a cute little belly and doesn’t even know it and feels confident in her swimsuit about to go to the beach. I don’t get why everyone is making a huge deal of this post JUST because it’s a selfie rather than a parent posting a photo of their child in a swimsuit at the beach which I see all the time, you know?

Here are a few reactions to the photo

So according to the comments, every parent should live their lives around the potential creeps out there? She’s a child going to the beach. If you turn it into something more, maybe you’re the one with the issue!

She’s precious and just pretending to be like mommy and her friends. There is nothing wrong with this photo except the comments section.

100% YES!!! I love that she finds herself adorable...she’s confident, that is self-love. She will be stronger bc she likes herself now, clearly, you boost her up 😘

It must be upsetting as a parent for your choices to be criticized but Amanda has been able to handle the negativity with grace and calmness.
