Heather Locklear was known as fiery blonde Amanda Woodward on the hit 90s show Melrose Place. But now the TV queen has had problems staying out of trouble.

What happened to Heather?

During the 80s and 90s, the gorgeous Heather Locklear was one of the most beautiful actresses on screen. This reputation stuck with her even after the show ended. Sadly, Locklear later found herself heading down a dark path and hasn't been able to step out of it ever since.

Anyone who keeps up with Heather knows about her struggles with staying sober and the law. Back in 2018, the actress was arrested for assaulting a police officer. Hours after Heather was released, she was hospitalized due to overdose.

Going to rehab

Looks like Heather Locklear has been able to stay out of trouble ever since heading down a dark path. The Melrose Place star was sentenced to 30-days in a mental health facility by a judge.

The actress pleaded no contest to 8 misdemeanors charges in relation to her arrest for domestic violence and assault on a police officer. According to TMZ, Heather had six of her counts related to the battery.

If she doesn’t complete the 30-day stint, then actress faces 120-day jail time. After her completion of the 30-days at the mental health facility which she must enter by September 6, Heather will be on three years unsupervised probation.

The Dynasty star was arrested for investigation of domestic violence and assault on a police officer. She was later released on $20,000 bail.

Heather's mini-me

Since Heather Locklear’s gradual decline, her daughter, Ava, has kept a low profile. But the young lady who shares a striking resemblance with her mother has been kicking it in Hollywood.

She has some movie roles under her belt and is a swimsuit model. And while she is beating her own path, it’s clear to see that she is her mother’s daughter through and through.

No one can predict what's in store for Heather next, but we hope she finds strength in herself to get help.
