The celebrity power couple met each other in 1984 while filming his video clip to the single, Drive. Porizkova had a crush on him, even before meeting Ocasek, and later, the two developed romantic inclinations. She then called it "love before first sight."

After a five-year relationship, Paulina and Ric tied the knot in 1989 on the Caribbean island of St. Barts. The two spend 28 years together and produced two sons, Jonathan and Oliver. In May 2018, the couple announced they had split but weren't legally divorced.

Paulina Porizkova took to social media to share a heartbreaking tribute to late Ric Ocasek. In a lengthy message, the supermodel candidly revealed:

For a long long time, no one could make me feels as loved as Ric. He was my sun.

She also described their separation before his passing at the age of 75. Although the two have been estranged spouses for nearly three years, they "still lived together and still filled the family car." His demise has put her in a shocking state.

His death is the end of my world as I knew it. 💔 💔💔💔💔

Honestly, you can feel her pain in every word. We don't know either it is a writing style, or she truly wanted to put every heartbreak into her phrases.

It was Paulina Porizkova who found her unconscious and unresponsive husband in his Manhattan townhouse.
