The pair met on the set of Mad Men where Alexis played Vincent’s mistress and fell in love. But the two were ‘completely professional’ and started dating only 2 months after they finished shooting the show.

Now Alexis Bledel and Vincent Kartheiser are happily married

Alexis and Vincent’s steamy on-screen love affair turned into a real-life romance. The couple announced their engagement in 2013, just a few months before making their red carpet debut together.

It is the first marriage for both Bledel and Kartheiser and it seems like it will be the last one. In 2016, the couple welcomed their first child together, an adorable baby boy. He probably has the most beautiful blue eyes in the world.

Kartheiser explained their decision to keep everything private by quoting a character from Ernest Hemingway’s book The Sun Also Rises – “You’ll lose it if you talk about it.” It appears that living by this quote has been really working for the couple.
