Donald and Melania Trump's relationship is forever under media scrutiny. They met in 1998 at the Kit Kat Club in Times Square. As a 28-year-old woman, she was able to capture the heart of the then-52-year-old business tycoon.

Many doubt if they have an emotional connection. The U.S President leaves us crumbs himself that they might not be overly attached.

Mr. Trump was amidst parting from his second wife, Marla Maples when he cozied up with the young model. Melania was entertained but hardly starstruck. When the estate mogul asked for her number, she requested his instead. He happily provided her with every possible contact detail: The office, Mar-a-Lago, and New York residence.

He won't bet on her grievance though

Donald Trump knows that his wife won't be reduced to tears if something bad were to happen to him. He recently addressed a crowd at a Republicans fundraising event. As Politico reported, Mr. President got a little carried away and delivered “unscripted, unfiltered” statements.

He then spoke about the shooting of House Minority Whip Steve Scalise which happened about 3 years ago. After throwing in a joke about weight loss, Donald made an obvious yet, haunting revelation. He said:

[Steve’s wife] cried her eyes out when I met her at the hospital that fateful day. I mean not many wives would react that way to tragedy, I know mine wouldn't.

The trolling came swift and strong

Well, no one can estimate someone's compassion for them. It may be a good guess on Mr. Trump's part but, still, only Melania knows how she feels about it. Share this and sound off.
