The Feud Is Over! Madonna Buries The Hatchet With Brother Chris For The Sake Of Family Unity

Date November 14, 2019

Many years ago, Madonna's brother Christopher, destroyed their sibling relationship in a 2008 book titled Life with My Sister Madonna.

For a long time, Christopher Ciccone was the pop star's backstage dresser and show designer. He apparently felt she wasn't treating him kindly enough, so he wrote about her being bossy, moody and mean.

The siblings seemed to have reunited years later, but in a 2017 interview with the UK Sun, Christopher took another shot at Madonna calling her "horrifying.'

At the time, it looked like these two just will never see eye-to-eye. But things are much better now.

Family reunited

In a recent interview with RadarOnline, Christopher revealed that he and his sister have buried the hatchet following their long feud.

We are at peace now and just spoke last week.

In addition to settling things with her brother, Christopher also confirmed that the 61-year-old pop star is now on great terms with their dad Silvio Anthony โ€œTonyโ€ Ciccone. Father and daughter had a strained relationship for years.

Christopher said that Madonna has become very supportive of their father and overall, she has "been great."

She regularly speaks to our dad while some of our siblings work at the winery. We are all united.

About the family

Madonna was born to parents Madonna Louise (nรฉe Fortin) and Silvio Anthony "Tony" Ciccone. She and Christopher have four other siblings, Anthony, Martin, Paula, and Melanie.

The singer was only 5 years old when she lost her mother to breast cancer. She once revealed to Vanity Fair that in her youth, she felt like a "lonely girl who was searching for something."

The Ciccone family has had to cope with a lot of ups and downs. Madonna herself has had her fair share of controversy and drama. But it sounds like she's now rebuilding her relationships with her siblings and their dad.

It's never too late to reconnect with family.
