Elton John on George Michael's death

While on the CBS show, The Talk recently, Elton John talked about his late friend George Micheal and most importantly, about the singer's death.

Sir Elton claimed that despite the coroner's report, he believed George passed away because he just didn't want to live any longer which could have had something to do with his sexuality.

The 72-year-old singer expressed his unhappiness at being unable to help George and believed that in the end, the Don't Let the Sun Go Down singer passed away because he just didn't want to live.

The person has actually got to want it. It’s like me in the end; I really wanted it. I had two alternatives: one, to die, and one to live, and I wanted to live. But that’s the difference if you want it, and poor George didn’t want it.

Elton John went on to add:

He was so uncomfortable in his skin about being gay even though he said he wasn’t.

Many people didn't approve of Elton John's words about the late George Michael.

They felt like it was unfair of Elton to speak about his friend this way.

Elton John has never been afraid to say what's on his mind even when his words can be controversial. And clearly, he has a different opinion fn his friend's cause of death which isn't what was officially stated.

In the end, we can only just assume that the Sacrifice singer has his reasons for sharing these comments about George Michael.
