What people love and admire Chrissy Metz for is that she never ran for the Hollywood perfect standards of beauty. However, in one of her interviews, Chrissy confessed it took years before she finally learned to love and accept herself and her body.

The star explained:

I don't find my value in my body or my weight. It's really more about who I am and what I can offer as a human being to the people in my life and the people in the world.

Chrissy also revealed a secret that helped her learn to accept her appearance. She said that her vocal coach told her to sing naked in front of a mirror to raise her self-esteem. It seems like the method works!

Chrissy Metz is a good example that we shouldn’t be embarrassed by some extra pounds but instead love ourselves as we are! Chrissy’s enormous achievements say it all!
