American idol stars Katharine McPhee and David Foster tied the knot in summer but they still resemble happy newlyweds every time they step out in public.

Over the weekend, David and Katharine attended the annual Breakthrough Prize Awards together. The new wife looked fabulous in her majestic Meghan Markle-inspired white gown teamed with gorgeous diamond drop earrings.

By the way, on November 1, David Foster crossed a 7-decade line. McPhee paid a sweet tribute to her beloved hubby on his 70th birthday.

She shared a romantic Instagram post:

David Foster and Katharine McPhee prove that their 35-year age gap is not an obstacle to true love. Katharine doesn’t stop sweetly gushing about David calling him “a perfect husband.” In his turn, Foster admits he feels over the moon since he met Kathy.
