Lamar Odom Confesses He Fell In Love With Khloe Kardashian While He Was Dating Taraji P. Henson: 'I Was An Immature Punk'

Lamar Odom's relationship with Khloe Kardashian has made headlines for many reasons.

The former NBA player has become quite infamous for his stint on Keeping Up with the Kardashians, his publicized relationship, marriage and divorce from Khloe Kardashian and his addiction problems.

Now he's opening up about his struggles and shedding some insights on his past.

Lamar Odom and Taraji P. Henson's relationship

Before Lamar and Khloe became a thing, the former athlete dated actress Taraji P. Henson. Lamar recently revealed some regrets he has about this relationship while speaking on TV ONE’s UNCENSORED.

Lamar previously reflected on his and Taraji's relationship in his memoir Darkness to Light. Here, he wrote that things were "hot and heavy" between them when they were together sometime in 2009.

However, the relationship was complicated because, as Lamar regretfully said on UNCENSORED, he fell in love with Khloe while he was with Taraji.

I just wish I would’ve done things different with (Taraji).

He later admitted that he and the actress's relationship came to an end because he was "an immature punk."

Taraji dodged a bullet

In reaction to this confession by Lamar Odom, some people felt like it was a good thing Lamar and Taraji's relationship ended because she deserved better.

Even though Lamar had his own share of struggles and has surely made mistakes, it looks like he's starting to find his footing once again. He's currently dating fitness trainer Sabrina Parr and the pair seem to be having a fun time together.

Life can sometimes be complicated, especially when it comes to finding love. The road isn't always so smooth and mistakes are made along the way.

Hopefully, Lamar continues to maintain a healthy path and if expressing his past mistakes makes this journey easier for him, then he deserves to open up as much as he wants.
